Junior Women's Hockey joins SLMHA

SLMHA has announced the Central Alberta Amazons are joining the organization, effective July 21, 22025. The Amazons are part of the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League (AJFHL) based out of Penhold, Alberta.

Red Deer Rebels draft Talon Brigley

Former SLMHA Laker and Sylvan Lake local, Talon Brigley was selected by the Red Deer Rebels in today's WHL Bantam Draft. Brigley was selected in the 2nd Round, 24th Overall. Familiar to the organization, Brigley played the 2019-2020 season with the Red Deer Bantam Rebels in the AMBHL. Congratulations goes out to Talon & we wish him all the best!
